Why have I've not seen much progress?

I've been working out my abs every other day for the last 3 months and I've seen no results. I do 2 sets of 250 crunches every other day with at least half an hour of cardio. I'm also fairly skinny and I've been eating fairly well for the last 3 months. Also, instead of gaining progress on some days, I've lost it. So, why have I not seen much progress for my quest of getting a six pack?
