Why have i put on weight when i dont over eat?

I have been on a diet for a while and i did not go a day without losing weight. However, the last few weeks i keep putting on weight and losing it again and it is worrying me. This is averagely around 2.5 pounds, i do lose it after but i am in a hurry for weight loss so it is a problem.

I get at least half an hour of exercise a day.

My diet:
Morning: Activa Yogurt - 65 calories
Afternoon: Slimfast - 230 calories
(Sometimes) Activa Yogurt - 65 calories OR Snack soup - 10 calories
Evening: Slimfast 230 calories

Some days i reduce the calories in the shake by adding half the powder recommended to try and boost weight loss too. I know it is unhealthy and i take a vitamin tablet.


I'm only losing around 2 pound a week now and when i get made to eat a solid food (even a tomato) i put on a pound.

How could i be putting on weight when i am not over eating? Is there a stricter diet i can follow for rapid weight loss?

Please dont tell me to start having things like rice and pasta or something like 1200 calories, i am desperate to lose it.
