Why have I been charged £1.58 on my Solo Debit Card statement?

I was looking on my bank statement and on the 14th it shows the transaction where I purchased a hoody from TK Maxx for £29.99.
The transaction bellow (£1.58), dated on the same day doesn't have a 'description' so I don't know where its come from. Is it possible it was a service charge for using my card in the shop..? I've never really used this card in a shop before but I've read online and I shouldn't get charged.
Does anyone have any idea as to what this is all about?
Thanks

Ask your bank. The only time you would be charged for using your card in a shop is if you make a very small transaction (less than £10) in a convenience store, but this charge is down to the store itself and is simply added to the transaction - packet of cigarettes £5.50 + £1 charge, it would be £6.50 rung up on the till and put through on the card.
