Why hasn't the Main Stream Media called Obama on this yet?

After repeating the word "Crisis" more than Hillary and Bill Clinton said "I don't recall" in their Grand Jury testimony, Obama stated that it was imperative that the $787 Billion Stimulus must be passed and signed immediately to keep the US from reaching 9% Unemployment...we are now at 9.5%...so where are the hard questions now? Why has the Media not brought this out for the Average Channel Surfing American? I can not understand this because it is news...please advise...

LUX, my want to be Yankee, I didn't say they did not mention it, they just do not bring up why Obama said it was imperative that the Bill be passed quickly...and I know economics and I know it is a Lagging Indicator, but there should still be some signes of improvment...and so far, not much at all...I just wonder why people still think Barry is really smart...
Chupate esa!: Well we would have saved the $50 plus Billion given to the UAW...by the way when can we expect that money back?
 
The old line media complex is in the tank.
This was never so clear as during the 100 days new conference.
Not a single substantive question was asked that would have cause Obama to think of an answer that could not be displayed on his teleprompter.
Accept for the question about what he thought was the most enchanting thing about being president. They probably had not foreseen that hard hitting question!
 
selective memories and denial, plus the ever popular lagging indicator answer that the news has spoon fed them every night lol (yes but still doesnt make up for the 600,000+ jobs lost each month....no matter how you spin it)
 
I don't believe he EVER said this... and in fact I REMEMBER him and his advisors BOTH saying it was possible we would get to double digits before we see the recovery...

He DID NOT "promise" that. It would illogical for anybody to actually be able to precisely "predict" something like that.
 
Actually it was 8%. It seems the media does not want to admit when it was wrong about Obama.

And BTW according to Obama this in an improvement. Go Figure.
 
The 9.5% unemployment rate is mentioned *constantly* on every news network.

On the bright side, some new economic data has been released. Job losses are slowing, housing starts are up and retail spending is up.
 
The main stream media has never nor will they ever say anything that makes the "great and almighty" BO look bad....they will avoid the truth if it doesn't favor him....
