Why guys don't approach women anymore?

Guys don't approach me, they stare and thats it. I approached guys before but they never seem interested in me. I smile just to let them know I'm approachable but they continue to stare. People say I look like a model but do you think thats a problem finding a boyfriend because I 've been single for 9 months now. Advice
