Why gm doesn't stand behind they're products?

My 2005 chevy truck's air conditioning was fried because I had the battery changed,and this can cause problems with they're very delicate computer systems.oh and after they fixed for 1,300 dollar,they added a computer program so it won't happen again.why didn't they nav a recall so it wouldn't hav happened in the first place.i've had 2 chevy trucks, this will be my last.gm doesn't stand behind they're products.hello toyota truck here I come,a least they do hav a recall when things go wrong
