Why fish burger doesn't have tomatoes except carls.jr fish burger?

Since fish burgers don't have other ingredient, it become less tasty. Why fish burger doesn't have other filling like other burger friends?

I think Wendy's may...I like it with tomato too.
I add it to fish sandwiches at home when I make them with Gordon's or some other fish patty.
The filet o' fish at McDonalds is perfect without it though.

If you ask them to put tomatoes on, they will do it. My guess is that they add a tartar sauce like sauce which clashes with the acidly taste of tomatoes.
