Why dose the medie never report good news.?

In the past 2 month house prices have risen.More mortgages have been approved and retail figures on the high street have gone up.Asda and mc Donald's have announced employing thousands of new staff and massive investments.
 
Watch ITV news - their quick subject swerve at the end normally has the fluffy happy news you refer to ala - '...and finally....'
