O odinsragess New member Sep 20, 2009 #3 Many factory stereos have sound processing, i call it "idiot controls". The bass cuts out at high volume to save the speakers from blowing. Many stock systems have this. The only way to "fix" it is to replace it with an aftermarket stereo.
