Why don't you see expensive sports cars with high mileage for sale?

I understand that the value goes down if you drive it more but i've never seen a ferrari with over 100k on it. There has to be somebody driving these sports cars past 100k and then selling them

There actually aren't many people driving them that long. The problem is that they need huge repairs when they get old. A high performance engine like what's in a super car is running at the edge of it's limit. It likely won't make it to a hundred thousand miles.

Now if you're interested in a ferrari with 85,000 miles that needs a $35,000 engine job and has a bunch of accessories that frankly, who knows when they'll go, you might be able to find what you're looking for.

Obviously there are plenty of old super cars around, but, if you look at them online they always seem to have under 50k on them, right?
