Back in the day, the Catholic Church didn't have the resources and knowledge we have now. We know a lot more than any man at any council in the past. Plus we have the dead sea scrolls.
So since men voted on which books went in the bible before, why dont we have a new vote, with the world's historians about which books should go and which shouldn't in light of the knew information we have?
