Why don't the Glee club from GLEE not like what Finn and Rachel sing in the episode...

...Duets? When they were dressed in black and singing for the club, and singing a song called "With you I'm born again" and when they finish, the club is shocked at them.
Why??

I don't quiet get it...

I know it was supposed to be offending and why they chose to do something offensive, but I don't get what was offensive about what they did.
