"socially conservative"? The people against the Civil Rights movement were in fact DEMOCRATS. However they were at least least SOCIALLY CONSERVATIVE and not LIBERAL as they are today. I'm tired of people telling me that the Civil-Rights supporters are Republican in the sense of them having conservative ideals and values. I'm not a liberal but I'm tired of hearing this half truth from Republicans.

Also you if disagree or think I'm wrong or misinformed about this then tell me how I am I'm happy to learn more.
