OK, so in Windows Live Photo Gallery, I just learned how to tag my photos. It gives you the option of tagging by People or Description. I've been using both, but only the Description tags are being registered in its metadata...
For example, the following tags are applied to a picture:
Description: "Florida," "Disney Land"
People: "Mike Johnson"
Now, if I right-click and click properties and go to details, only "Florida" and "Disney Land" are listed as tags. Also, when I use the search function in Vista's start menu to search for tags, if I type in "Florida" or "Disney Land," the list of photos containing those tags appear. If I search "Mike Johnson," the photos I've tagged "Mike Johnson" don't appear.
I was wondering if there was a way to *ingrain* the People tags the way the Description tags are. There is an option to convert all the People tags to Description tags, but I'd like to save that as a last resort, for convenience's sake. Thanks to anyone who can help!
