Why don't more people see the similarities in the "gay is the new black" debate.?

I admit I gleaned this from various talk shows, articles, and newscasts.

But really as a bisexual half "black" & "white" person in a 7 year hetero interracial relationship, i feel that people are not looking at this from all angles.

First of all i have heard the argument that you don't choose to be "black" but you can choose to be gay. There are some things i would like to point out about this common simple minded argument.

First of all being gay/bi is natural it's not something you add or remove from yourself like a tattoo or medication. Just like some people are born with clinical chemical imbalance depression in their brains. Also the behavior of big horn sheep and dragon flies are good examples that homosexuality does exist outside of te human population, thus proving its natural status.

Second (though i don't condone it) people CAN choose to become or appear as another race to avoid discrimination. This can be done with cosmetic surgery, make up, hair relaxers/perms (which is actually all to common in the "black" community), skin bleach, and Methoxsalen and other vitiligo drugs that alter melanin production, (like the man in the non fictional book "Black Like Me").

This kind of interference is similar to the "mental treatment" many people insist those who are gay should subject themselves to. Both are cruel and have the potential to cause excessive permanent damage to the individual who undergoes it. Most people would never suggest that someone change their skin color to fit in, but the same people would ask others with an orientation different from their own to change. That's what's really sick.

Third the majority of homosexual individuals are in no way harming other people. Besides, forcing religious values on individuals who do not practice the specific religion is unconstitutional, and yet that is exactly what is being done when homophobic religious people like christians, muslims etc. withhold marital rights to gays based on their mythological doctrine.

Also my guy and i refuse to get married until marriage rights are extended to all consenting adults irregardless of gender/orientation. This is mainly because we are both bisexual and figure that even though the homophobic laws don't affect us in our current relationship either one of us could have just as easily been the same gender as the other, and just because fate gave use a lucky freebie we shouldn't abuse/flaunt it.

So whats up is this whole situation? Is it all out of other peoples ignorance and lack of logic , because that's what it seems.
Over population is and is becoming more of a problem every day, so really it is people like that pshyco octomom and SOME mormans and the like are ones that need to be legally restricted.
Oh to some of you who are just being cruel trolls and refusing to see the evidence, go to jamacia and see how gays and even just suspected ones are treated it's sick.

I am do have better insight too because in eailyier times my guy and i would'nt have been able to marry even if we wanted to because of laws preventing interracial marrages i suppose some of you would like those laws back in place as well because "marrying ouside your ethinc tribe" is mentioned in religious doctrines too.
