Recently I've been reading about a nation that has pretty much exhausted its rabbit hat. The taps are worn out on the shoes that once excited admiration. Even the elocution and oratory sags, because the cue cards were discovered on eBay.

The only hope, in my opinion, is to dismantle the prisons and offer the bricks and iron to China. Yes, the freed felons would try to find treasure in the world they once knew, but after failing to find any, maybe one of them would come up with a plan.

Our ministers have been silent, even though the mess we're in cam about because of their hypocrisy. Will they apologize? No. They lean on forgiveness.

Thankfully there is still food on the shelves, and I'm going shopping today, so I can at least eeke out till mid-October.

I do see a bright side to all this. It can't get much worse. Once we hit bottom, we'll all look up to the beautiful night sky and ponder, "Where did we go wrong?"

Once we find out, we can try again. Hunger is a constant companion, so at least we won't be alone through this ordeal.

I urge all alike to just tighten the belt, and stay away from tall burning buildings, bridges that suddenly collapse and especially the US Dollar.

My son works for the government as a printer. He's working overtime lately. My husband drives truck, from the GPO and Treasury to 6 Federal Reserve drop points. I know we'll survive, at least.

I just want you all to know that America will be fine and that if we just listen carefully to the leadership, regardless of party affiliation, and do as they tell us, there will be a sudden change, very soon.

I have a mosquito about to bite me, so I'll be going.

Take care, and never give up.
