If you turn your bible to Gen1:27 It says so God created human beings in his own image. In the image of God he created them; male AND female he created them. (this was the sixth day)
Then we know on the seventh day he rested.
On the following day it says in Gen 2:7 Then the Lord God formed the man from the dust of the ground. He breated the breathe of life into the man's nostrils, and the man became a living person. (Then he called him Adam, and the actual translation of Adam is fair skinned.)
contining it says "THEN the Lord God planted a garden in Eden ......
So with this said if I'm understanding this correctly Adam was the first son of God, not the perfect one that Christ was but not the first man. And furthering studing this later Adam said that he did not have a "mate" being a spouse like every other living thing. God created one from him in order to give him one. So as said in Gen 1 man and women both were already created. Then God made Adam. Correct?
After the seventh day it says THEN God formed the dust to create Adam.
And the meaning of the name has to be taken back more than just this time period. It does mean fair skinned. Meanings change over time.
My bible is NKJ and I also have a New life bible. Both say the same thing.
THEN does not mean further description but referes to a place of order.
