Why don't car manufacturers put in the "wind" windows in the front windows anymore?

They may have been known as draft windows and were in every car up until maybe the 70's or 80's
Aflur200 made mention of 'drag'....if that is the case, this 'window' should be used in order to save fuel and add to the efficiency of the car. Any comments?
