I had a Linksys wireless router [WRT54G] for years and all of a sudden the wireless devices started saying low connectivity and connection timed out...so i thought it was the router because it was old or something. So I got a new one (Linksys E2000) and the problem is still present. My main laptop cant find the router on the list of available networks. but when i hook it wired with the ethernet cable it works fine. And I know for certain that the wireless switch is turned ON for all laptops. This problem is same for all the wireless devices. (ex. another laptop, xbox 360, ps3, wii, blu ray, itouch, psp,etc...). I also thought it was interference because all my xbox 360 wireless controllers lose connection to my xbox. A neighbor recently got a wireless router and he lives so close that his network is on the list of available networks with full signal strength. so I thought it was his router that was causing interference and changed my router from 2.4GHz to 5GHz. and still the same problem.
why dont any of my wireless devices hook up with my router?
