Why dog jumps and barks at the fish tank?

im over my aunts house and she has the cutest well behaved yorkie. everytime her fish fight(they are oscars) if makes a loud wooshing sound from the tank..he jumps and barks at the tank(it is to high for him to reach or hurt hiself) I was just wondering why

Hey here he is now (he is soo cute ..belly rub time lol)
