I've been trying to burn some music to a CD using windows media player lately and I've been having some problems. The burner doesn't burn all the songs on the burn list on to the CD, it keeps finalizing the disc early and then coming up with an error. The burner doesn't even finalize the cd correctly so I end up with a useless plastic coaster.
My burn list fills the disc up leaving about 2:38 minutes remaining. I've tried lowering the burn speed and this is what happens: If I set it to low, it burns 1 song onto the disc and then finalizes; if I set it to medium, it burns 3 songs and then finalizes; fast burns like 8 songs, and fastest burns like 6 (don't remember exactly haven't tried it at that setting lately). I have no other programs running while burning, its just windows media player by itself.
Can someone please help me? What am I doing wrong? Is my burn list too long?
