Why doesn't the Google Chrome "secure profile" extension not work on my chrome browser?

I added the extension to keep people off my Chrome browser but the password doesn't save and I can't figure out how to make it work.
PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
