Why doesn't Obama just debate Biden ?

Considering Biden thought Obama's ads were "wrong", that he thinks Hillary would have been a "better V.P. choice", he said absolutely NO to clean coal plants anytime, anywhere; and Obama stated he would promote clean coal plants - why dont they just debate each other ?

because obama wasn't born in the late 20's when biden was watching FDR on television and getting his political ideology. it would be a disconnect.
