Why Doesn't Obama Do More Serious Type Talk Shows?

If he insists on doing talk shows, why does he choose "Tonight Show" and "View"? Isn't he important enough to be on more serious shows?

Something like Larry King or The O'Reilly Factor.

He could even do Glenn Beck but I don't think he would.

Even a liberal themed show like Bill Maher's Real Time would be better.
