I purchased a Samsung Crystal Surround Air Track HW-D450 sound bar for my TV. The sound quality is really great, but I have some issues with it.
The way the sound bar connected right now is the Optical cable and Audio cable are connected to the sound bar and TV, (optical cable is connected to the Digital audio 2 slot) and the power cord connected to an outlet. The Sub woofer is connected in another part of the room at another outlet
There's also a Toroidal Ferrite Core and a Ferrite Core, but I really don't know what it's for (There's a picture in the manual showing that you have to have the cables hooked with it)
For one, I have a PS3. But when I connected the Optical cable to my PS3 and Sound bar, sound wouldn't come out of the sound bar and only came out of the TV. Only after I connected the Optical Cable TO my TV would the sound come out
Another issue I have is that I am unable to use my TV remote whatsoever. If I disconnect the sound bar from the outlet, the TV remote would work. But when the sound bar is connected to the outlet, the TV remote would not work at all.
