Why doesn't my Treo 650 recognize my Kingston SDHC Class 6 SD Card?

I have a Treo 650 PalmOne Phone and I also have a Kingston SDHC Class 6 8GB SD Card. i put all the files that I want on the SD Card. When i put it into my Treo 650, it does not recognize it. The Phone only recognizes my ULTRA SD 512MB SD Card. Is there a problem. this is urgent because i am going on a trip tomorow morning and i have no time to buy another sd card...!! plzz helpp!! =S
