I have an 89 Jeep Cherokee Laredo. It does great when it's in 4wheel drive, but has a nasty habit of popping out when I'm driving down a snowy road or something. It has happened while I was in 4hi, 4low, and full time. I'll be driving, and all of a sudden my front wheels stop pulling, leaving me effectively in 2wd. I just replaced the motor mounts, and don't know where to go next. There doesn't seem to be a whole lot in the way of vacuum lines down there, and I can't find a shift motor on the axle like some of them have. Any ideas?
