I just started learning to code website design in html, but I am confused as to why it won't work on my mac.(Because its a mac! There Haha.) Jokes aside, is there some different format for macs? I used notepad and dream weaver(at school) for coding on windows PCs, but at home with my mac, making code won't work. Is there a different way to do it? I tried .txt and .rtf on my mac to no avail. The normal

<html>
</html> coding content all shows up as text on the browser instead of telling the browser what to do. It will litterally say that on the screen. If there is a free mac coder for html that would help me maybe. Thanks!
no duh ben. I did that. That is what I have done. I just wondered that because I tried first saving the work as an RTF that maybe it messed something up. I obviously saved it as an HTML file. If you have never coded html on a mac GTFO
