C CF5Gamer New member May 9, 2010 #1 The 6.7L Powerstroke has more horsepower (390 v. 325) than the standard Cummins ISB and nearly as much torque (735 v. 750 lb-ft) plus it is built in house. I'm guessing that part of the reason is that Ford has a contract with Cummins.
