I mean ford made a billion dollar profit b/c the UAW allowed ford to cut some benefits/pay and they saved 300 mill. But once they make profits the UAW will demand more money again. And because of the UAW ford/gm workers get paid 2 3 times more then workers at toyota or honda plants. Not to mention the plants in mexico are more productive then the UAW plants so they don't even work harder for their huge checks.
So I don't get why they don't fire every single one of these leaches, and hire young desperate workers who will not only work harder but also accept much smaller pay, thus Ford and GM do not have to cut corners in quality to compete with toyota and honda on price.
That or replace them all with robots, which will cut costs big time and they wont take constant breaks for a budweiser and a cigarette
One last thing: These Union workers refuse to work at a competitive salary even though we as american people now are paying their ungodly expensive undeserved salaries that are at the core of the bankruptcy itself.
A high school dropout should not make the same more then professionals or other more difficult jobs were someone who made an investment in their education to achieve.
