Why Doesnt Dtunes allow you to play php files? Are there any apps like dtunes that do?

I wanna watch videos on my jailbroken ipod, but dtunes wont play PHP files. omg!
if my ipod isnt jailbroken i can watch them, but when i jailbreak it, it wont let me..i have to use dtunes, and dtunes wont let me
 
PHP files aren't music, not even close. They are used on webpages for things like scripts and forums. Not sure why you would try to use it to listen to music on. And you wouldn't be able to even use them on an iPod or computer without some software like Apache2 and an iPod wouldn't be able to run Apace2 because its windows and it would take up much more hardware and things then the iPod has
 
php files aren't a consumable media format.

PHP is a scripting language primary used in website design.

You're basically asking why your iPod won't "play" a webpage.
