why does Yahoo in cahoots with M$ feel free to ignore 'w3 org' html protocols?

I can't see what ever I do that girl with the tattoos every ones talking about on the login page. any one else can on a Mac or outside IE? if not it's gotta be them ignoring protocols huh..

I ran the login page through the markup Validator and:-

63 x errors and 14x warnings. :O

4.0.1 HTML trans protocol.
oh it's photoshop, no one disfigures themselves for the love of Yahoo..
