Honestly, only a few thousand people died. How bad is that really? The more important issue is the billions of dollars that were lost when both buildings were destroyed!
It shattered the sense of security that most Americans had, to see an actual land attack on our soil. The following decade has been noted mostly by its fear and insecurity.
how would you like to die!
would rather have your closest friends and family die or be given a million dollars?
I think I know what you would choose...
U disgust me
Maybe if you were on the phone to one of those few thousand people when they where making their last call home to their families you would have a different outlook.
wow are you ever opening yourself up to ridicule by all those who will disagree. It always seem like it's the level 1 trolls who ask the kind of question you are. Funny how they never stick around for dialogue, instead, they talk trash and split to get a new account. Kinda like you, doc, a level 1.
so those people were worth < billions of dollars? Americans (atleast every american i know and have met) believes 1 person = priceless. Question fails b/c it puts a price to human life.
That's a pretty harsh explanation... but the reality of it is we were just looking for an opportunity. An opportunity for what? I don't know-- to control the middle east and lower gas prices; to boost our economy through warfare; etc, etc. Most people are just trying to show their patriotism in a time when its been hard to be patriotic. Personally, I've been getting annoyed with it myself, though...
