I was reading my toyota tacoma brochure and i noticed that the V6 toyota tacoma with the 5 speed automatic got better mileage than the 6 speed manual. Is this true or are they lying to my face because i thought manuals always got better mileage than automatics plus the manual has one extra gear so the engine runs slower therefore it uses less gas soo explain why this is
