The Police are always telling people to confess or tell the whole story so the court would give them lenience for being cooperative or honest people after the fact. If there is some truth to this idea, then way are the Police giving criminals the opportunity for lighter sentences. Why isn't there full investigations. Why are we paying taxes so criminals can write crime dramas for the courts. What is a Police explanation of this practice?
