I have a sense of why 
I disagree Tyra. There is no disparity in intelligence between whites and blacks. My question was gender specific aswell. I notice it moreso that the media shuns the image of positive black women.

CC, I have always found there to be a double standard aswell. In the Democratic community, Colin Powell is more admired than Condoleeza Rice. Both of them were Secretary of State under the George W. Bush administration, so I really don't get it.
