I don't understand it, every time we elect a president we spend the next 4 or 8 years reading just as much news about what their spouse is up to. I do not mean to sound sexist, I am sure it would be the same if a female was president. Why does the media constantly talk about the first lady and her agenda???? I don't understand it. NO ONE voted for this person. This person has NO responsibility as far as running the country goes. This person has NO responsibility in forming policy or directing our country. So why do I read story after story and look at the front page of yahoo to see the top story is again about the first lady and how she spends her time???? Does anyone out there really care how Michelle Obama spends her time or what issues she wants to champion?
