Kindergarten to High School Level.
I am asking this question because I know an acquaintance with a severely mentally handicapped grand daughter. She is so severe that she cannot speak a word, only babbles, and cannot dress herself, or eat by herself.
I am not trying to be mean, but why is it that the government requires the severely mentally retarded to have education, when these people will likely need somebody to take care of them all their lives, and may not hold a job?
