as those of us who watch TV likely all know by now... broadcast TV is going all digital. a family member who works in management in the largest cable provider in the USA has informed me that the "transition" is because the Federal Government is taking over the frequencies for some reason that they will not disclose yet. does anyone have any more info on this subject?
