I want to buy cheap economically feasible motors that are not built like toys.
Gasoline engines don't cut my cheese it's just a personal preference don't take it literally, I a utilitarian find little use in conventional gasoline engines. They are very problematic IMO as they run excessively high rpm's, they are hard on the tranny, built like toys and the inefficiencies due to lower compression.
Why is it that the only diesels available in america are big hulking 7 liter truck engines? All the small diesels are 15-20 years old and still running but i don't want to inherit a problem from the salvage yard.
That's not practical to the average joe, i we a 1.5-2.5 liter engine that won't financially kill us and some of us don't have the credit or cash to dish out on a VW TDI. There's lots of good shell cars out there that are ideal for diesel engines. I want to try a 1.5 liter in a Crown Victoria because they have well built transmissions and are big. What about the rugged toyota hilux? You can find them in every 3rd world nation but the US, hell we even manufacture small liter diesels at home but we only export. Why?
I wan't to buy a listeriod for home made genset but the EPA won't let me buy one unless it's in pieces and pretty soon i wont even be able to do that.
The EPA is seriously starting to look like domestic terrorist in my opinion, this is ridiculous and sad.
America land of the free? That slogan is dead!
