I just got my 360, everything is shiny and new, so I don't think the equipment is the problem. And I just got Dead Space today, its used, however. It randomly disconnects every so often, but, not too frequently, so I assumed something was just interfering with the signal. However, When I tried to use the Contact Beam, my controller would disconnect right before it is fully charged and prevents me from firing the weapon (with the exception of the alternate firing mode). This is really annoying and I can't find the answer as to why such a specific trigger causes the connection to fail.
