Why does the brake light stay on in 1994 Jeep Wrangler 2.5?

The red brake light stays on in my Jeep what would cause this? How do I fix it?
 
It could be an electrical problem or it could mean you need to change your brakes. Does it use the same light as the emergency brake light?

I would check the wiring.
