from pre1980s US media? Today the American media always seem to portray all Japanese as being fair skinned. But I notice that in News footage and photos relesed before the 1980s and movies released before the 1980s,they always seem to portray all Japanese as being tan skinned or dark skinned!Especially in colored historical documentaries and WW2 movies and WW2 photos and news films! So why does the American meda portray the Japanese as all being fair skinned today while portraying Japanese people as dark skinned before the 1980s.Why does the American media portray the Japanese's physical features in today's media different from pre 1980s American media(especially the American media of the WW2 years)?I'm very curious why the American media portray their physical features today differently from before the 1980s.
