I believe the American government is endangering the American citizens health by continuing to legalizing the sale and use of tobacco and alcohol related products. The American government needs to ban the sale and use of tobacco and alcohol. The American government is trying to find a solution to the epidemic of obesity in our country. Yet, our American government appears to do nothing to stop the sale of dangerous drugs such as alcohol and cigarettes.

Nice rant. yes state and local goveernments rely on sin tax increases for needed revenue. yes we tried prohibition see 18th Amendment to the constitution, we considered it a Bad Idea and promptly passed the 21st Amendment to change our minds. No more Bad Ideas please.

we tried that once with alcohol, its called prohibition, we amended the consitution to do just that. It created organized crime. The fact of the matter is that the american government has no respoinsibilty for personal choices. the american government allows sale of firearms but cant be held responsible for someone killing someone.
