i bought a sony blu ray S370in may, up until the last firmware release in august it worked fine
since the firmware was installed it will not output audio that has a 44100 sample rate. this means that you cannot hear mp3 or cds or video with this sample rate. it reads the CD tracks and you can see the timeline playing but no audio comes out - there are no error messages or crashes you just cant hear anything.
it plays DVD and 48000 audio fine
why is it so selectively wrong - ive tried factory reset and cant roll back the firmware
