Why does somebody falling into a black hole experience an infinite amount of time

before reaching the singular? -ity?
My guess:

Black holes are infinitely small, so you can get infinitely close to them, so gravity can get infinitely large as you get close, meaning you can accelerate with infinite energy, meaning time slows down for you infinitely. Right?
