Why does sex hurt for the first time(s)?

Why does it hurt the first time and not anytime after that? and why for some girls and not others? I'm soooooo scared for my first time because I think it will hurt (I think I have a small "hole"). Help? Is there any way to help make the first time more pleasureful rather than extremely painful?
 
It doesn't as long as the physical required in many states before a marriage license brakes your hymen.
 
nope grit your teeth and bare it and actuall it hurts more than just once for some. it can hurt up to 4-5 times before you orgasm
just make sure your with someoone you love who will take careof you in that painfull time in your life
