I can receive mail, but cannot send. It is rejected with following message.
Sending of message failed.
The message could not be sent because connecting to SMTP server smtp.att.yahoo.com failed. Please verify that your SMTP server setting is correct and try again, or else contact your network administrator.
I have been using DSL (with accompanying email service) for over 15 years. After AT&T took over SBC and required new server and port settings, I made the changes. It worked well for a year or so. With no changes in equipment, for the last few weeks, I get the above message.
At first, it was sporadic and, after a few attempts, it would work. Now it doesn't work at all.
