Why does my Yahoo Messenger chat/message window suddenly have the letters 'AD' on it?

Suddenly, without any upgrade, my message window has the letters "AD" on the lower left hand corner, but only with one person on my friend's list.

I Googled this and couldn't find anything.

Does anyone know what this is?

I am running OS Vista with YM version 9.0.0.2152
