Why does my vagina feel so weird?

Okay, I'm not one to usually ask these things, but it bothers me so much I'm kind of scared. First off, I am a virgin, and have never had sex or fingered myself. My left lip is considerably longer than the other and it feels like its folded in and is very uncomfortable. Sometimes it itches and when I urinate it sometimes burns at the very end of the vagina. I'm 16 and scared that something is wrong with me. I would like to try to figure this out before telling my Mum and consulting a doctor, because I don't know how she will react to me saying "Hey, Mum! My vagina feels weird, let's go to the doctor's office!"... Please if someone knows how I feel/what this is or is a doctor or something please help me out. I play field hockey and am scared to go out tomorrrow and play because I don't know what is wrong with me. Please help a 16 year old in need.
 
Your labia are meant to be different in size.
They are called major and minor.
If you have a burning sensation when you pee, it is not your vagina burning but the end of your urethra. It means you have a UTI and may need antibiotics.
Increase your fluid intake. Decrease any caffeine.
Drink a glass or two of cranberry juice each morning
